After being abandoned, a small kitten was adopted by a kind lady. The cat and the lady quickly bonded, being inseparable. Until the cat's owner passed away. Heartbroken, the cat goes on a journey into the afterlife to find its owner. Such an action does not come without its consequences however as the  cat's action quickly gain the attention of the Reaper of Souls...
